Yad Singh grew up watching UFC legends Georges St-Pierre and BJ Penn and that motivated him to take up MMA training in 2012. Singh is not daunted by the prospect of facing a more aggressive fighter in the form of China’s Chen Rui. He looks forward to putting his skills, endurance and willpower to the test.
For the past few weeks, Yad has being religiously training twice every day, seven days a week in boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai and BJJ as well as strength and physical conditioning. Although he is competent in many styles, he likes to use wrestling slams to defeat an opponent.
