REBEL FC 4: BATTLE ROYALE ASCENSION proved to be a resounding hit with Qingdao spectators a second time on 25 June 2016 at the Qingdao Sports Center. REBEL FC made its debut in China last year at the same venue in Qingdao with REBEL FC 3: THE PROMISED ONES and that event saw Brazilian Kleber Koike become REBEL FC's first featherweight champion after he defeated MMA Bantanweight legend, Miguel Torres of America. International stardust aside, THE PROMISED ONES also brought up and coming Chinese MMA stars Qing Ge Le and Song Ke Nan into the spotlight.

BATTLE ROYALE ASCENSION is part of REBEL FC's ongoing series of events hosted to provide budding Chinese MMA fighters with a platform to shine and develop as well as bring international fighters to promote the sport of MMA to Chinese audiences. It featured an 8-Man welterweight knockout tournament consisting of four quarter-finals alongside five world class bouts. The winners of the BATTLE ROYALE ASCENSION 8-Man welterweight KO tournament will go on to contest the semi-finals and grand final on a yet-to-be confirmed date. So watch this space for more exciting events in the coming months!
