The Promised Ones successfully made its mark in China on the evening of 27th of June in Qingdao Sports Centre and it was evident that it was a big hit with the Chinese from the onslaught of media frenzy in China covering the event.

With a late entry into the competition, Kleber Erbst Koike made headlines when he was crowned champion of the Battle Royale Featherweight tournament, edging out Takahiro Ashida and MMA legend and croud favourite, Miguel Torres.

The Main Event saw Liu Wenbo, returning back to his hometown and a comeback fight after two long years against Greco-Roman Wrestling specialist Adil Boranbayev. The final result shocked everyone with a draw, with Liu Wen Bo being adamant he won and that Boranbayev “fought like a child”.
